Exodus 19:1-25 - "In the third month after the Israelites left Egypt, on the very day they came to the Desert of Sinai, they camped there in the desert in front of the mountain. Then Moses went up to God, and God called to him from the mountain and said, 'This is what you are to say to the descendants of Jacob and what you are to tell the people of Israel: You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself. Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.'

Parable of the Sower (Mathew 13:1-23):

 

That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still, other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Whoever has ears, let them hear.”

 

Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. The seed falling among thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

 

Parable of the Lost Sheep (Luke 15:1-7):

 

Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.” Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbours together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”

 

Parable of the Hidden Treasure and the Pearl of Great Price (Matthew 13:44-46):

 

“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.”

 

Quran: Surah Al-Baqarah (2:2) - "This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of God."

 

Quran: Surah Al-Imran (3:3) - "It is He who has sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel."

 

Quran: Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:48) - "And to you We revealed the Scripture in truth, confirming the Scripture that came before it and as a criterion over it. So judge between them by what God has revealed, and do not follow their desires over the Truth that has come to you. To each of you we have ordained a code of Law and a way of life. If God had willed, He would have made you one community, but His Will is to test you with what He has given each of you. So compete with one another in doing Good. To God you will Return, and He will inform you of the Truth regarding your differences.

Quran Surah Al-Anfal (8:61) - "And if they incline to peace, then incline to it and rely upon God. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing."

Quran Surah Al-Isra (17:9) - "Indeed, this Qur'an guides to that which is most suitable and gives good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward."

Quran- Surah Al-Kahf (18:1) - "All praise is [due] to God, who has sent down upon His Servant the Book and has not made therein any deviance."

Quran- Surah Al-Jumu'ah (62:2) - "It is He who has sent among the unlettered a Messenger from themselves, reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom, although they were before in clear error."

Quran- Surah Al-Zumar (39:23) - "God has sent down the best statement, a consistent Book wherein is reiteration. The skins shiver therefrom of those who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts relax at the remembrance of God..."

Quran 17:9:-"Indeed, this Quran guides to that which is most suitable and gives good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward."

Quran 3:48- "And He will teach him writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel."
